Hohnhorst Jaro’s Family

Justice-Schwöbel1Jaro is bred Danish. Jaro’s Sire Hesselbjerggard Justice does not only come from a rare stallion lineJune-kl (orange line), but is the result of the mating of two competing performance ponies; Clonemare June (B-Pony in showjumping) and the elite-stallion Pilgaards Sammy Jr. (B-Pony both in jumping and in dressage).  Sammy Jr. did not only produce good daughters (five are inspected into 1st class, one is already elite), he has also passed on his versatile performance talent. His son Hesselbjerggard Highlander is A-Pony in dressage, which means competing on national and international level. His Partbred-Son Elmely’s Claudius is A-Pony in eventing and became Danish Champion in 1999. Both parents of Hesselbjerggard Justice are a result from elite matings. Sammy Jr is sired by Øxenholm Sammy out of the elite-mare Kaervangs Candie, who is wellknown in Germany as the dam of Pilgaards Vogue, dam of several licensed stallions around the world. In Denmark she has sammy a - HPbrought two licensed sons and two 1st class mares. Hesselbjerggard Justice’s dam June is out of the elite-mare Clonemara Lady, who had a second successful daughter in showjumping next to June. June’s sire, the Abbeyleix Owen son Earl of Doon is also Elite-stalion with a good personal performance record and very successful offspring both in breeding as well as performing. One licensed son, five 1st  class mares, three B-ponies in dressage, eventing and showjumping plus two A-ponies in showjumping and eventing. His son  Bøgegaardens Calibra, Danish Champion in cross country jumping, was with 19 years the oldest participant in eventing at the European Championship 2008. Hesselbjerggard Justice died much to early at the age of six due to a colic. He sired seven foals at our stud, six colts and one filly. Three of the colts are licensed (two in Germany, one in Denmark), one is registered in studbook 2 and has already sired premium foals. His only daughter in our stud is states premium candidate and had already a premium foal herself.

Jaro’s dam is the elite-mare Nørlunds Madigan, who brought excellent offspring successful both in breedingTootleU_small and performance, i.e. Nørlunds Carte d’Or (B-pony in dressage), such as Nørlunds Melody Maker (licensed stallion and  A-pony in dressage), Hohnhorst Milana, Hohnhorst Milaya (USA) und Hohnhorst Melina (all premium mares) and beside Jaro another licensed son from our stud, Hohnhorst Brannigan, now stud stallion in Canada. Jaro’s fullbrother Hohnhorst Jamiro sired some premium foals here before he was sold as breeding stallion and performance pony to Denmark. Madigan’s successes are no coincidence. Her sire is Tootle U, Holens Samathawho was very successful in dressage on national level and therefore was used also for breeding Danish Sportsponies. Tootle U was sired by the elite-stallion Rory Ruadh, who left six licensed stallions, eleven 1st class mares, amongst them two elite-mares, six A-ponies in dressage, with Laerkens Czardas, Danish Vice-Champion and Øxenholm Topsider, Danish Champion,  as well as one A-pony in showjumping and eight B-ponies in dressage and showjumping, before he moved to Sweden, where he had similar success. Among his offspring there are the elite-stallion Rolls Royce as well as his fullbrother, the Swedish dressage HovholmensMajChampion Juno Rory. Tootle U’s dam was the elite-mare  Øxenholm Tresmeralda, who brought only four foals, of which three were successfull performers. Madigan comes from a very successful and fertile mare family. Her dam, the Elite-mare Hovholmens Maj had 16 foals, three first class mares and one licensed stallion. She is sired by the Elite-stallion Majgaardens Paddy, who did not only produce excellent daughters and one licensed son for breeding, but also successful performance offspring, such as the European Champion in dressage  Lina Vesterskovs Cecil. Maj’s dam is the elite-mare Holens Samantha, who produced 17 living foals, among them two more 1st class mares to Maj and two licensed stallions; Hovholmens Golden Flash, who went to England where he was member of  the National dressage team and  Nørlunds Mr. Swing King , who was first active in Holland before he moved to Germany.
